BABENZIEN AT BERGDORF: Brendon Babenzien, the former creative director of streetwear brand Supreme, will be at Bergdorf Goodman on Saturday during the store’s fall men’s event to introduce shoppers to his new men’s wear line, Noah. This is the first time the collection has been available at retail since Babenzien announced the project in February.
“Bergdorf Goodman is an incredible store,” Babenzien told WWD. “To maybe bring a little bit of our brand attitude and ethos to them and their customer is a cool thing to do and I think it’s going to be quite fun.”
According to Bebenzien, the grown-up collection targets customers in their late 20s to early 40s who have ties to skate culture. The line ranges from pocket T-shirts to corduroy running shorts and cuffed beanies. While most of the collection retails from $ 800 to $ 1,200, jackets have an opening price point of $ 400, T-shirts will retail for about $ 48 and tops and bottoms will start at $ 180.
Other than Bergdorf Goodman and Union in Los Angeles, the collection will only be available at Noah’s e-commerce site and New York City store, which are both set to open in October.
Babenzien will be joined at the Bergdorf’s event by other designers including
Nicholas Brendon, best known for his role as “Xander Harris” on the “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” and most recently for his role as “Kevin Lynch” on “Criminal Minds,” reveals that he has been battling depression and alcohol abuse and has found himself arrested five times in the last eight months.
“Dual diagnosis means that I’m [expletive] crazy, and I’m a [expletive] drunk,” Brendon says. “Depression is a real thing; and I was ashamed of it a little bit, too.”
Brendon says he began drinking socially at the age of 26, and it soon became a way for him to cope with anxiety. “It goes from, Hey, I’m having fun, to then I, literally, needed to have a drink before I could have a conversation with people,” he says. “I knew by the end of ‘Buffy’ that things were a little out of control for me.”
After “Buffy” ended, Brendon says he landed a role on another TV show that soon was cancelled, and he says he felt like Hollywood wasn’t interested in him anymore. “I took it personally,” he says, adding that he drinks because he can’t handle his emotions. Drinking initially quells the anxiety, definitely, but then it just adds to the anger.”
Brendon explains the dangerous combination that he believes led to his string of arrests – sleeping pills and alcohol. “That combination, for me, was very deadly,” he says. “When you do those two things, you just black out and obviously, a rage exists, because I would trash hotel rooms. I truly was insane. There was no rational thinking in it at all.”
In the video above, Dr. Phil tells Brendon he wants to make a plan to save his life, but when he starts to ask the actor about his behavior, Brendon walks away. This episode of “Dr. Phil” airs Wednesday. Is Brendon ready to make hard choices and take the steps needed to save his life and career? Find out where you can watch here.

“Buffy The Vampire Slayer” actor Nicholas Brendon was arrested Friday in a Tallahassee, Florida, hotel on charges of criminal mischief and property damage.
Brendon had reportedly been in Tallahassee for the ALT*Con pop culture festival. As Gawker notes, it was the actor’s “third convention-related arrest” in recent months.
According to CNN, police found Brendon “in a state of confusion.” He was allegedly intoxicated and had caused damage to hotel property.
The manager at the front desk told an officer … that Brendon had taken pills and alcohol and was walking around the hotel with blood on him and his clothes torn and wet from a toilet he says the actor had caused to overflow. During their conversation, Brendon arrived, wearing a T-shirt and pajama pants that had a crotch tear, the report stated.
[…] “I observed him with toothpaste all over his face and shirt, his pants were torn, he had defecated on himself and his pajama pants were wet below the knees,” the officer wrote in the report.
Brendon was reportedly placed under arrest and released on Saturday after posting bail.
The 43-year-old actor, who has a recurring role on the CBS show “Criminal Minds,” was arrested in October and February under similar circumstances.
